• Microsoft states Vista and Office 2007 are more stable and faster than earlier versions. Good reviews have been given to both in leading magazines.  Microsoft plans to charge for support on earlier version of software after 2008 and will discontinue support on earlier versions in 2014.  It is difficult for hardware and software companies to keep their employees trained on older versions especially when demand and excitement moves  forward.
  
• Beginning  July 24, 2007 federal minimum wage has increased to $5.85, then will increase to $6.55 July 24, 2008 and then on July 24, 2009 will rise to $7.25.
